Opened in July 2002, one of the striking things of Imperial War Museum North is its unconventional building. In the first year of its opening, it witnessed around 50, 000 visitors. The building is designed by Daniel Libeskind and it is located in Greater Manchester. The main gallery of the building is Earth Shard, the Water Shard (restaurant), and Air Shard offers gorgeous views of both Salford Quays and MediaCityUK.
Well, if you are thinking you will get to see different types of arms, then you will be highly disappointed as the gallery mainly focuses on war instead of the weapons. There is a gift shop at the museum from where you can buy books, souvenirs, DVDs, and postcards.
Manchester Sea Life Centre
